The Band

“It's a welcome sight to see a recommitted Edith back in the clubs. Fronted by the dynamic Karen Harris, the new lineup rocks and hits harder than ever before. Few people radiate a love of music as much as Harris does.”
— Steve Morse, longtime Boston Globe writer

Karen Harris

Karen Harris

After putting music on low burn to have kids (whose favorite dance party song right now is The Fall’s “Hit the North!”), Karen is happy to be back playing, writing, and recording—and delighted to be playing again with the original Edith people: Matt Magee (guitar), Jim Collins (bass), Scott Rogers (drums), and Terri Brosius (formerly of Tribe, on keys and vocals).

Matt Magee

Matt Magee, Guitar

Matt started playing guitar in high school to a) add an extracurricular activity to his college applications and b) help him meet girls. He did end up getting into college.

Jim Collins

Jim Collins, Bass

International playboy and bon vivant Jim Collins has a lust for life and all things “Saucy!” When he’s not playing baccarat in Monaco or shagging supermodels on the Riviera, he can usually be found huddled alone in a dingy, dimly lit room watching “Pinks” on SpeedTV.

Terri Brosius

Terri Brosius, Keys and Back-up Vocals

Terri Brosius plays keys and sings some back-up vocals, though rarely in front of an audience. She recently recovered from a rotator cuff injury that prevented the proper lifting of her tea kettle.
